Final Reminders!

**New Orange Cards for the LAST week of school! Please continue to sign them through the last week. 

**Thanks you for your support with Class Dojo this year.  It proved to be a successful tool for managing both positive and negative behaviors. 

**Hang in there and persevere!  Only a few days left...and then SUMMER!!

**Orange Card Reward Party on Monday, June 3.  If students earned reward, they need to come to school with a swim suit and towel in a small bag.  Also, remember to wear comfy shoes because we'll be walking! 

**Field Day is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4 in the morning.  It will run from 8:30-11:00 at Kollen's Park.  Again, please remember appropriate clothing and shoes.  :)

**We have been working in our summer "Bridge" Workbooks here at school to help establish a routine.  It is our hope that you and your child will continue to work through their "Bridge" book to completion this summer.  It will help to reinforce skills and prepare for next year.  Thank you for your support to help prevent summer loss. 

**Please be aware, in fifth grade not all students will necessarily earn an award at the final assembly.  We feel it is important to honor the students that stood out and put forth great effort, even though they may earn more than one award.  We are so proud of all our students, but assembly awards will only honor a few students in each academic area.  This may be different from previous years. 

**On Thursday, we will be cleaning out desks and cubbies.  Please remind your child to bring an extra bag of some kind to school on Thursday to bring home all their goodies. 

**Friday is our last day with dismissal at 11:30.  Have a blessed summer!

*Daily Orange Card Signatures (This is the second week on these Orange Cards)

*Please find our post below to read more about our Class Dojo point system and how we are documenting that on the Orange Cards.  Remember, kids are only getting a "Dojo" mark if they end the day in the negatives.  This allows them more flexibility.  (Scroll down for the post that explains Class Dojo.)  Also, students have received a code to log into their account and track their own behaviors.  I've also been leaving comments for the students to encourage positive behavior choices.  If you are interested in a parent code, please let me know.  I'd love to have you access their page as well.
