Some of you may have noticed something new when looking at your students Orange Cards. If you are seeing a -1 or -2 etc. on their behavior chart it has to do with Class Dojo, the website above.
This is a website where we can keep track of BOTH good behavior and poor behavior throughout the day.
At the end of the day, if your student finds themselves with negative points on the website, we mark it on their orange cards.
All students start out with 0 points.
Example of a day:
-Bob is staying on tasks, he earns a point. Total: 1
-Bob is prepared for the next lesson, he earns a point. Total: 2
-Bob is talking to a neighbor, he loses a point. Total: 1
-Bob isn't following hallway procedure, he loses a point. Total: 0
It is now the end of the day, Bob is NOT at a negative therefore he doesn't receive an Orange Card mark. IF Bob ended the day with a negative, that is when we would be marking his Orange Card.
