Looking ahead to next week- April 15-19

WEEKLY REMINDERS:

*Daily Orange Card Signatures (This is the second week on our O.C.)
*Please encourage your child to read daily and document their minutes on the April BOOK-IT calendars.  

*Please find our post below to read more about our Class Dojo point system and how we are documenting that on the Orange Cards.  Remember, kids are only getting a "Dojo" mark if they end the day in the negatives.  This allows them more flexibility.  (Scroll down for the post that explains Class Dojo.)  Also, students have received a code to log into their account and track their own behaviors.  I've also been leaving comments for the students to encourage positive behavior choices.  If you are interested in a parent code, please let me know.  I'd love to have you access their page as well. 
*Save the Date: Tuesday, April 23 is World Book Night and Vanderbilt will have a special family event in the evening.  More info has been sent home and is available in the office. 
*A positive attitude and a willingness to try is a HUGE part of your success!  Come to school ready to learn and do your best.  :)
